TTR Game of Toanz

Great question!

Criteria is weighted, 33% rhythm tone, 44% lead tone, and 23% ITP (intangible tone potential), taking into account signal chain, stage presence and impressive posing abilities. I can say only a couple TTR members are really taking full advantage of that last 23%. Jethro rocker, Mitch and Headache are basically floating by many more deserving others on ITP alone. I think if many in the top 20 woke up and started challenging in intangible tone potential realm, you'd see a very different top ten I think, other than me of course.

Anyone who has not yet been mentioned in the rankings as of yet, here's where you should go first

GREAT PLACE TO START

Rhythm tone!!!!

Then, I'd have to submit this studio project....

Listen to Beat To Death Like A Dog Project - Guitars Only by Von Herndon on #SoundCloud

Ok well I listened to @Robert Herndon s latest submission, and he's definitely throwing down the gauntlet to overtake @Jethro Rocker for spot number five in the esteemed TTR Tone Rankings.

Moving from outside the top five into the top five requires a Tone Gauntlet Challenge which all TTR members will judge as the winner by poll.
You can only move one step up at a time inside the top five.

Required: is a 1:00 sample leads over Electric Eye riff posted to this thread, so we can judge. You have three days to submit your samples gentlemen, judging will take place over 24 hours in a separate poll thread. Feel free to improvise if you wish. If you fail to provide your sample
you lose your spot by forfeit.

Here's a bare backing track for you

May the ToneLords be with you.

While not as ballsy as I like sometimes, I prefer more high end, the back track for one of our last songs used the Marshall Studio Classic and was fairly gnarly.

Wasn't using studio recording, just go pro mic.
Also to note song change up after 40 secs.

So if this was done 4 months ago does it still count? Cause if so, @Ramo and I crossed that bridge before lol

Nope not yet. But football on tomorrow too so....I can just record some crap. Otherwise I have recordings from studio too.
The community needs 1:00 of Judas Priesty tones from both you and @Robert Herndon inside 3 days. WARNING: Your non-rock 'n roller excuse-makings are putting your ITP score at risk, so you might be dropped out of the top five naturally! ... We need to judge apples against apples.
If that song is too difficult, we can do House of the Rising Sun instead.
