I Dropped A Guitar Today:

If I dropped my prize Strat, this would be me....

Stratocaster wouldn't break....

Doesn't happen on my DoubleNeck. 3 week cured U-Pol, sprayed in 2017.

My Les Paul 50's Standard Gold Top gets so sticky during a show I have to clean it repeatedly at every break.
I don't doubt this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but Gib/EPI, Fender/Squier Jackson Japan poly/nitro guitars I have get the sticky on, every summer here.
Then as temps cool, away goes the sticky.

How was your Schecter? Sticky wise

Here’s the Dean Zelinsky solution, they route/CNC away over half the surface area. I think they call it EZ Glide.

Makes sense: You reduce the effective total surface, you reduce the friction. I did the equivalent with the Tele I built for my son a few months back, except I gave the back of the neck a very light pass with a 1500 / 2000 sanding pad to turn it from a gloss to a satin finish. it definitely improved the "slidiness". Pretty much replicated the finish that my blue schecter (Marlene) has in the neck.
