Yes. Pretty much all the artist signature guitars get special care and these have been very nice.

You can break a Gretsch headstock from a 4 inch drop on a rubber mat. They are super weak.

I had this Silver Sparkle Duo Jet in my stable for years, but sold it about 2 years ago to help fund another purchase, I really enjoyed it, good feel, distinct tone and surprisingly held tune even with the Bigsby, kinda wish I still had it, but on a a quest now to find the elusive Black Penguin at a decent price.

A friend of mine who was in the initial FB group to try building (or mod) custom guitars, did finally build a couple with my encouragement. The second one was a take on the Penguin that he dubbed "The Purple Puffin." He did quite a good job, especially since he started out knowing absolutely nothing.

My first thought was Chibson... Counterfeit,. Knock off,. Then rarity if real.
