Immobilized in a Mickey D's parking lot.

Hahahahahahaha! January 15th for me….I’ve been quiet about it for a month….
Congratulations @chilipeppermaniac ! It’s about time! Glad it finally came true for you!

Thank you @Thatbastarddon
I really really was walking on eggs due to already losing the 1st 79 Les Paul the day before my birthday in January and having lived 58 years, one knows not to count your chickens...

I took a gander at some of the seller and my text messages when I first inquired about the bass. Here is his answer to one question.

Gregg

Gregg Sweigert

The bass is a 1998 Epiphone, I added the Gibson headstock TRC. I actually played Armed And Ready during a sound check with Michael a couple of years ago. It sounded huge. Great tune, it was unreal playing with Michael and hearing that unique tone.

I told Gregg I had been at a small club in north east Baltimore county that has since closed and saw Schenker that night. Here is his answer,

"I was on the crew at that show. David Van Landing from Baltimore sang with Elliott Rubenson on bass. Too bad they have both passed."

He is exactly right too. David Van Landing did sing that night for Michael, ( and he was a Local Maryland guy) which stood out for me that night.

Thank you Robert.

The funny thing is way back when I was buying my Telecaster, My Epi Les Paul, my White P Bass or Black Jazz bass, I also noticed a Korina Epi Flying V 6 string and was tempted to give my mom and pop shop another $400-$500 to get that V Guitar,
In the subsequent 10+ years, I wished I had.

Now I have the Bass version and it is even sweeter to be all mine.
