While I was looking for Acoustic-Electrics and $245 Rigs, I saw this ad on my phone and the picture made me stop and stare:

I thought "Man, that's gorgeous! Where was that color when I bought my SR305e PW?"

I started to scroll on and keep looking for what I was originally hunting, but stopped to show the picture to my wife. She gasped and said "That's STUNNING! Are you going to buy it?" I told her I didn't need one, and if I did I'd have to sell the white one I just bought and take a loss, blah blah blah. She was like, "yeah, but that thing is just gorgeous - you should buy it."

So, like any good husband, you don't have to tell me twice. :ROFLMAO:

Fast forward a week and UPS dropped it off on my front porch.

My pictures don't do it justice, it's just stop and stare gorgeous in person.

After I unboxed it, I had it sitting in my office/jam room and my son came in to ask me a question about school and froze when he saw it. Without hesitation he said "Whoa! That's a really cool guitar!"

Got it from Melody Music Shop and they did a set up on it prior to sale. The action is great, neck is near perfect, etc. Ibanez did a better job assembling it that they did my first SR305e, too as that one had the bridge just a niche too far to the high side so the G string was a tiny bit too close to the edge of the fretboard.

I played it for about a half hour after work yesterday and just love it. So much so I'm no longer bummed I couldn't get another BPM finish, as this just kills that one visually.

Now to take it in the shorts selling the white one...

What did they do?
So, I got a message request from some account with a female name and an avatar of a fairly attractive woman, probably around 30-35 years old asking if it was still for sale about 3.4 seconds after I posted it. I responded yes, then they asked what my bottom price was (hate when people do that). I told em what I had it listed for since these basses are a little scarce right now and it's essentially brand new. They replied with "Hope still it is in good shape". My brain immediately read that as someone who didn't speak English as a first language, so I clicked on their profile, only to be taken to an Instagram page with pictures of young girls in bikinis, among other things.

Then, they replied and offered me $100 more than I was asking, but demanded I ship it to them in Louisiana immediately. Since I wasn't offering shipping, I thought about if for a second, before asking how they would pay me. They didn't reply for awhile, then came back and said Venmo. Venmo is allegedly the #1 cash app used in Facebook scams - particularly by people with no FB account that use Instagram, because people steal credit card numbers, get sellers to either ship an item, or issue a refund, then the original payment gets cancelled due to the stolen card number. Seller is then out the item, the money or often both.

So, now I have someone with poor command of the English language, hiding behind a non-FB account littered with pictures of young girls in bikinis, asking me to do exactly what a textbook FB scammer would do.

I replied again and said no, I don't do Venmo. They asked what I would take and I said PayPal or Cash. They replied "I don't have that." So I told 'em thanks, have a nice life and stopped replying.

hint: dont sell the white one.
Why? I don't need two of them and I'm trying to get a Solar A2.7 and need that cash to go towards it.
