Years ago I had a 4x4 with big tires and I was sick of shoveling all the snow so I just started driving over top of it and parking on my 'snow mountain' for the rest of the winter, figured I was pretty smart saving myself all that work. Two problems, my friends who didn't have 4x4's had to park on the road because they couldn't get in my driveway, and in the spring when this huge pile of snow started to melt it flooded out my garage. :facepalm:

Snow blower it still sucks 2005 was worse than this year but I had a Case 580 backhoe then.

I used to work on those before they figured out I was dangerous and moved me into parts.

Edit: that was 1980. I retired in 2020 and was still working behind a parts counter. Different businesses….. same job.

Thats not my machine, yes you are right the weather here wouldn't warrant having one where i live. But I have had lots of fun on them when I lived in Northern , Ontario.

Winter weather travel advisory in effect for today.

This winter weather travel advisory replaces the snowfall warning previously in effect.

After a brief break early this morning, snow is forecast to redevelop near noon today.

Additional snowfall amounts of 4 to 8 cm can be expected by the time the snow comes to an end this evening.

Visibility may be reduced at times due to the moderate snow and local blowing snow, particularly over open areas.

Motorists area advised to exercise caution.

Same here, when I was young I worked for a year in Sudbury, back when they used to get a shitload of snow during the winter. My friend next door to the house where I was renting a room had a couple of machines that he had modified to perform better. I was given a 'drunk snowmobiling' course (not on roads, just trails through the forest). We had a blast, and surprisingly none of us got seriously hurt, especially considering the number of times we rolled the machines. Some overweight cops with way too big machines tried to catch us a couple of times but that didn't work out for them.
