Winter Storm Warning​

Hazardous winter conditions are expected.

Hazards:
Snow with total accumulations of 20 to 30 cm are expected by Thursday morning.
Snowfall rates may reach up to 2 cm per hour at times.
Reduced visibilities due to snow and local blowing snow.

Timing:
This morning through tonight.

Discussion:
Rain showers will transition to snow this morning. Snow is then expected to continue through tonight. There is still some uncertainty regarding additional snowfall amounts on Thursday.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.

Nothing you can do about it. Just warm up some hot soup or something and hope for the best.

Got a 4x4?

Years ago I had a 4x4 with big tires and I was sick of shoveling all the snow so I just started driving over top of it and parking on my 'snow mountain' for the rest of the winter, figured I was pretty smart saving myself all that work. Two problems, my friends who didn't have 4x4's had to park on the road because they couldn't get in my driveway, and in the spring when this huge pile of snow started to melt it flooded out my garage. :facepalm:
