Hetfield vs Hanneman

I LOVE Risk, I don't care what anyone says. Aptly titled as well.

I also LOVE Load and ReLoad too!

Sure, they don't sound like what we've come to expect from those bands, but they're chock full of great musicianship and writing. If I hadn't have known who those albums were recorded by, I'd think it was pretty decent stuff! There are moments in Load and ReLoad that sounds as if it could have been Alice in Chains stuff....and I like those guys too...so I can understand why so much hate for those albums exists, but I have a hard time acting as if I don't like them, because I actually do, quite a bit....I just have to remember that if I wanna listen to thrash, I won't play those ones, but if I wanna chill around the BBQ with some beers or something like that where I might put something a tad more mellow on, they're viable options for me.
You need fight fire with fire song at the BBQ its very appropriate.

Hear me true, I do spend hours at the BBQ pit listening to thrash! But sometimes I feel more like listening to other stuff. Sometimes I'll listen to a bunch of old blues, or whatever tickles my fancy at the time.

You mean like John Denver?

Used to listen to John Denver with my grandma. (y)

....probably wouldn't be my first choice for a BBQ soundtrack though lol

Want something laid back? listen to trapped under Ice and imagine all them beers what they are going through lol

Outside of the metal thing, ive long been a big fan Classic and Hard Rock. More odd to some, is that i have ALWAYS been a big fan of Southern Rock.

If having a gathering like a cookout , most folks arent gonna listen to me blasting out something like In Flames, Megadeth or even Iron Maiden sadly. But Ac/Dc works in ANY setting and you cant go wrong with early days Aerosmith, Bad Company or Lynyrd Skynyrd either among many others

Lol this is WV man. We are THE most southern of the "Northern" states. If you have a gathering and you dont listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Bob Seger and CCR, you best either go get fitted for some high heels or get ready to fight against someone wielding a pool cue inexplicably ( the second part is unbelievably true) lol
