I'm really impressed with the OR15 btw. It's just enough different sounding than a Marshall to keep it interesting.

Mullard, Brimar, Amperex are all great EL84's, but also the most costly. Less costly are the likes of Tungsram, Tesla, Sylvania etc, but still really good sounding tubes. Of course, each have their own flavour, as with any tubes, so personal preferences come into play. If you can find some Tesla hex plate EL84's at a reasonable price they'd be well worth grabbing, same with Tungsram's. Cheers

Ill also add that once you get used to hearing your guitar tone in true full STEREO (through powered monitors ) --- a single speaker "in the room" is boring

Holy crap this amp rocks. I put JAN Sylvania 5751 in V1, moved the GE 12AX7 to V2 and put a current Gold Lion in the PI. I am seriously impressed.
