Heck Ramo, I can always use the DSL100HR loop out into the Orange loop in for the Marshall tone in 15 watts.DSL sounds pretty good to me.
Mullard, Brimar, Amperex are all great EL84's, but also the most costly. Less costly are the likes of Tungsram, Tesla, Sylvania etc, but still really good sounding tubes. Of course, each have their own flavour, as with any tubes, so personal preferences come into play. If you can find some Tesla hex plate EL84's at a reasonable price they'd be well worth grabbing, same with Tungsram's. CheersAnybody know anything about EL84 tubes? As in which vintage ones sound better than others?

I don't see a reel to reel or an 8 track!Ill also add that once you get used to hearing your guitar tone in true full STEREO (through powered monitors ) --- a single speaker "in the room" is boring
