That's one heck of a first amp!

My first was a Peavey Rage 158. It sucked goat ballz.

Here was my first:




I don't have it anymore. I blew it up. Plugged it into something wrong (I don't even recall what it was anymore) and she started sparkin' smokin' stinkin' until I grabbed it to unplug it, at which point I received a nice shock...and that was all she wrote forever.

Then I got this:




...and I DO still have this one and it works just dandy. It's in my son's bedroom just waiting for him to get serious about playing.

There’s a bit of a cult following of those old Silvertone amps. Do you still have it?

I have a Silvertone year 1965 model 1482.
It has Amperx made in Holland tubes in it.
Not bad for a $25.00 amp.

My First was a PEavey as well. The Backstage 20 -- and I have been a PEavey fan ever since -- currently have a Bandit 112 silverstripe-- but I would have another backstage-- audition--studio pro -- bandit-- rage-- etc etc any time

Here's something weird: my first guitar rig but using it now. I forgot how hard it was to play with this set up, but i had to start somewhere i guess. Not built for Hi Gain, hence the Marshall infatuation a few years later and Gibsons lmao

Still have them back in the old country... need to bring them into Canada sooner rather than later, though.

ALso "flipped" one a few years back the "Mississippi Mustang" T-15 and the amp actually didnt "suck" for low volume dicking around

loads of fun brought back fond memories.....

Lol rest easy, that thing is too much of a bitch to use what i play normally. Done got too used to low frets, slick ebony/rosewood fretboards and high output humbuckers. Its alright for easy picking stuff or strumming but thats it
