LOL....No.

It had 8 offers and it was in 4 people's shopping carts. When the price dropped from $375.00 to $335.00, people put it in their cart so if the price dropped again, they just have to click once to make the purchase.

I threw then all a curve and paid full price. These amps go as high as $600.00 so even at $375.00 it was beyond 'dirt cheap.'

Seriously, a 5 pound speaker and it sounds good?
Where does all the heat go?
It will take the entire power 100 watts? (it's rated 250 watts)
It has 2-1/2" voice coil diameter, vented magnet, so there 'is' hope.

Yep...it's scary...but not as scary as continuing to play through something less than what I really want.

100 watt Jensen Jet 12" Neodymium - 3 pounds...sounds phenomenal.

Im a fan of finding and using "lesser" gear in the eyes of others, because it keeps you unique and makes you learn how to really use something. Valvestates are fine amps that have been sadly overlooked like many others over the years and can work amazingly in the right hands.

Ill say this: id rather see someone go get something usable and practical that not only sounds great but that you can actually work with. Better to buy something that is affordable that works, rather than go out and buy something overly inflated in its price, it's name and worse: you cant even really use it.

Pricetags dont make you a better musician, just like buying a $50k kitchen appliance set isn't gonna help if you cook if you dont even know how to use a microwave.

Thank you, my friend. I've wanted one for years. I've played through them and love them, but could never find one.
