The neck is fantastic! It's basically unfinished and super smooth and silky to play.

I shied away from the PRS with painted necks because they always seem to get sweaty and sticky!

My Godins have satin finished necks too. Never had that before, it's great!!

My god what a beautiful axe! That is absolutely stellar!! Play that bad boy.
Controls seem to be in better spots too. That other with the toggle near the back does seem very odd.

I sold my Ibanez Artist to my bro partly because I kept hitting the toggle. Terrible spot. Beautiful guitar but anemic pickups and bad switch placement.

The 24-08 has a pattern thin neck. The other looks like a McCarty has a pattern.
Not sure which you prefer. Pattern fits better for me but I'd take that 24-08 any freakin' day of the week
