I really like my 24 fret Santana SE if that matters. Perfect heft of neck, Not skinny or narrow nut. PRS Trems are great too.

Somehow they stay in tune too, even without locking nut. PRS does have one style Locking tuner that I really liked too. MY Santana 2 had the harder to get strung Wing type. My Santana 2 had ones like in this 2nd clip.

I think they got rid of those weird winged tuners quite a while back

Yup, I am pretty sure complaints prompted changes, PLUS I am sure $$$$ saved did.

In 1991 I got a PRS Custom 24 10 top at that time was the most I ever paid for a guitar it was better than any new Gibson you could
buy at that time stayed in tune never broke strings and sounded fantastic

Honestly, no. I had already made my mind up, but I did enjoy the links you provided, and your opinion is always valued!

Look at the flame maple neck too!

The neck is fantastic! It's basically unfinished and super smooth and silky to play.

I shied away from the PRS with painted necks because they always seem to get sweaty and sticky!
