So Anyway...

so anyway...

I quit my new job.. lol

It was total BS, what made me quit was....Contract would be self employed ( I have no problem with that) but.... I would be treated as employed... They would tell me when to start, stop, and what to do and dont do... And money they were offering didnt reflect the work.

so I tolled them to do one... Search goes on...
Sorry to hear that, Ramo... but you're right, that is a misrepresented job position... and that is just plain wrong! You will find something much better, you'll see! :2Thumbs:

So anyway...kabang ! dog collar gear finally went & the prop spun up towards the shaft...screaming manic for a brief second.., of course it is choppy & windy. had first gear to limp home. It was banging since i got it. Kinda why found the 6 real quick . The 25 def weighs more than me, also mounted fish finder on board to use anywhere on the boat. Sit in the front & troll the weeds alot. Now my boat will be even higher in the back. Can still hit 10 mph with the 6 which puts me in my spots in 20 minutes north or south. Plus ya can see the fish a slow speeds..lol

So anyway...I met a guy here in town that wants to start a YouTube and is well-funded. He served 28 years in the Army as a weapons designer and has some really cool stories that he would like to tell and needed someone to capture all of this stuff.

The channel will feature the local history and current state of the Chattahoochee Valley area and the stories that the people here have to tell. He helped his two sons win top prize 4 years running in school competitions by filming documentaries about topics such as the Muskogee natives from these parts, General Patton and others.

My wife and I me him at a yard sale this past weekend which he is having to clear out his mother in law's house after she had recently passed. She was a hoarder and there's so much stuff in there, much of it rife with history. So he had the idea of filming the yard sale and all of the cast of characters that rotate through on a daily basis as well as the stories he tells them about the items as they ask questions. Sort of like a living yard sale. When I told him my brother and I do video production and have video drones he got excited.

He really likes the idea of a creative collective that can produce videos for all sorts of topics. He also like to build choppers amongst other things and has lots of really interesting ideas for inventions and wants to film all of this and I think we'll have a lot of content for quite a while to come in addition to the yard sale.

I have been tasked with writing a theme song for the channel that would be used at the intro and outro of all the videos. I came right home yesterday and got to work. Already have a really good idea that's very simple and catchy and feels like the soundtrack to a sunny Saturday morning jaunt through a yard sale in Alabama.

I'm thinking this may end up becoming a full-time job if it catches on. I'm pretty sure once word gets around people are going to flock to the yard sale like flies and hopefully we get lots of good interaction. It's definitely going to be fun to try.
It's cool to just go do things vs staying inside & living a cyber non reality. To work, touch & actually build things or create the art vs consume it is so rewarding & the sleep of a worker at night is peaceful.

our band thing is coming together & probably going to buck the norm & get a flatbed & just put shows on everywhere & anywhere next year.. Live life not fear

So anyway,

The stack is back!

I have the stack feeding the 900 on my pine 412 through the effects loop for stereo. I have my 50 watt lead running both of the 212 cabs. Only have my bass, Orange 410 cab and one 412A cab left to bring up. And stuff of course.

so, anyway...

my boy came back from school and he had drum lesson. I asked him to tell/show me what he learnt... He said teacher showed him the beat and he sped it up lol wanting to play fast.... I wonder where he gets that need for speed... I truly have no idea lol

I must say I was happy that he wants to play fast :) we got him drum sticks and he start searching surfaces to get desired tone.... I tolled my wife quest for tone has began ahahahahhahah
