Tele scratch build

Thanks fellas!

Give us a tone report!
I just gave her a basic setup, but so far the pups are balanced and nice. I only tried one Kemper profile, but the neck is throaty and the bridge is clear without too much high end (my preference). I gave it a fret level before installing the neck, so it plays clean. I am not thrilled with the 9.5 inch FB radius as I must keep the action higher than I prefer to prevent fretting out, but I can always change that. I will spend the next few days tweaking the setup, but so far so good!

Proper sexy!

Even though I wouldn't have gold hardware myself if I could avoid it I think it goes with the colour palette here

I don't like the action super low though because I do a lot of hybrid picking and I need to get a grip on those strings to pluck or snap them just right and if they're too low it's not going to happen. Super low action makes bending more difficult for me, especially vibrato while bending.
Thank you!

And I think our different experiences is based on the action. I like it as low as it can go. However, now that you mention it, it does make finger picking more difficult and I RARELY play with a pick. I will try to make the adjustment and see how it goes. Thanks!

So... are you telling us that your next project will be a Strat, Ray?:cheers:
This is even more amazing than how it was shaping up to be, Ray!! Hats off to you, Sir! Thinking about launching your own line of bespoke guitars?
Thanks! I do not really even have time to make these guitars!

I will stick with the tele shape. It is ergonomic and I already have the templates!

Cool! How did you make the decal?
I made a table in WORD with large cells. Then used Word Art fonts (I think) and then made different sizes and colors to fill up an entire page. I printed them on laser water slide paper (bought on Amazon).
