I assumed that was just an amp that was cooked up in the evil labs of you Floridians. Where does one get a Brutus to go with my Olive Oil cab?

YOU have to talk to the Head Mad Scientist of Swampnekcistanian AMplification and tubular creation ;) OWEGI!

---see--- I "know a guy" .........now get a wad of cash and meet us behind the circle K by the dumpster .........

No, make it public. Leave the amp in the middle of the parking lot. I will put the cash under the Good Will box. We will both exit our cars and walk slowly over to our targets and leave separately. OK?

I always think about getting the Blackstar HT5RH, but that is soooo done to death. Plus, I own a Marshall.

BUWAHAHHAHHAAAA....... AMPS at the O.K. Coral!

SO ---Blackstar----Blackheart--- (I know where an Ibanez TUbe Screamer amp head can be had) ----Marshal --check -- you need original--- something cutting edge......something inside the outside box---er perhaps in through the out door....er wait,,,,, damn it.....

ssshhhh lost my train of thought---yes that would be the crazy Train for those keeping score--

Check out Fenders line of Bassbreakers. There's a 7 watter @ $400, and a 15 watter @ $700. There's a 45 watter, too. Very good reviews on all the Bassbreakers. American meets British... hence the play on the model name.

That is a nice idea. I hear lots of good things. Thanks.

How many watts is the high end of low watt? 15? 20?

I don't have any low watt tubers,,,,,,, but I have heard a nice 20 watter in the Jet City JCA20H

Those are the best-kept secret in the amp world I think. My bandmate has one and I get to play through it regularly - what a great sounding amp! And a genuine steal at that price.

Notice gball also said his Carvin has a Weber 12 inch speaker. I definitely give thumbs up to Weber speakers as the owner of 3 Vintage series 10 inch ones.

If it were me I'd be looking at some sort of 5f1
In. I never leave the house if I can help it!!!

Thanks
I really like my Blackstar HT1RH head for home use. It has good cleans and with the ISF control you can get a British or American or something in between sound. The drive channel is a love/hate thing. Sometimes it's my default for days then all of a sudden it sounds too fizzy. Fortunately the clean channel takes pedals really well so when I'm off the drive channel I use pedals. I use it with headphones and with a 1x12 cab. I go through a lot of gear, probably had over ten amps in the last two years. The Blackstar was one of the first in that time and the only one that is still here. After going through a lot of amps in my quest for "that" tone I've settled on two amps which are my go to amps. The Blackstar and a Mesa TA-30. I also have the military amp I just picked up. It may eventually replace the Mesa but for now if I need to play live it's the Mesa and at home the Blackstar.

Please stop, Kerry!

My Yamaha THR10 does a great job, but I really miss a little tube amp. Today, I saw these two locally:

[버즈비] [40% 울트라초대박세일!!] Blackstar 기타앰프 HT-1 (1W)
HT1 - $180.

[버즈비] [40% 초대박세일!! 1W 진공관 /리버브내장] Blackstar 기타앰프 HT-1R (1W)
HT1R - $230. Is the reverb any good?

Luckily, I don't have a cab because the head is $190...

I'm trying to control the gas - you're making it harder! :D
(I nearly spent $180 today on a fuzz pedal - kinda puts the price of this amp in perspective!)

^ I didn't buy the fuzz. I have been gassing for the Catalinbread Katzinkonig for years, but that little baby Blackstar is the same price. I am currently trying to control myself!

But, I've kind of promised myself: practice, practice, practice, then when I can play well then I can justify a sexy amp or two.

Gotcha Betty. I was in same boat RE: a TS9 despite my novice skills. I bought that 1 pedal at retail USED price. As for the other 4-5 I own, I got 3 in a box lot of cables, mic's pedals, and other accessories I got at an auction for like $50, then 2 more pedals I got for free from a lady who gave me them along with a Peavey amp.

Yup, practice is essentially free.

I'm a fan of the reverb but it could be duplicated with a pedal as it's a digital reverb. I've only tried the combo in stores but I was not a fan of the 8" speaker. It seemed to strangle the amp to me. It has a speaker output but you'd have to buy a cab as well which would more than double the price.
