So at a whim I traded some other stuff for this:

Apparently it's made in September of 2017:

It's pretty nice despite the Richlite (truth be told, I don't mind it at all). Needs a new set of strings though. I'm thinking maybe Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze... Thoughts?
As a predominantly Fender guy, having and storing a Les Paul makes me nervous, so this thing causes outright paranoia
I won't be hanging it on the wall like the Ibanez AW it replaced. But I'd still like to keep it in the living room for easy access (and that's also the best controlled environment temperature/humidity wise).
Thing is, I only have space to store the case upright and with kids and animals running around, I'd like some way to prevent it from falling over too easily.
There are case racks but they're a bit costly for what they are. I could also build one, but I had an idea that would require less work: the metal "feet" on the case are magnetic, so what if I just screw a couple of neodynium magnets into the wall and maybe add some bottom support block, like so:

Can anyone see any downsides to this idea?
