TTR Mug Shots

This is kind of a weird one. And NOT for the obvious reasons. The nose, fuselage and tail definitely look like those of a Martin B26 Marauder, BUTT (gratuituous obvious joke here) the wings including motor, propellers and the cooling air intakes on the leading edges and on the engines are definitely more like those of a MItchell B25. Photoshop? Creative warplane reconstruction hobbyists? go figure...

Mitchell's typically had a cooling uptake in the top of the engine cowling.

Look at the wing ducts on the A-26 Marauder...

Yup, but look at the two fronts together:

The nose and cockpit closely match the Marauder's. However, the cooling intakes on the engine cowlings, the intakes on the wings AND the props match more closely those of the B-25.

But you know what? Now that I'm having a good look, the front and body can be that of a mitchell B-25... It's the TAIL that somehow does not belong on a B-25. Now I'm confused... Mommyyyy!!!

Its got me stumped too so far. And the rear elevator "wings" are swept back which is a more modern design. Still looking...
