I haven't been here for long, but so far, I have to agree with Mitch there, Rob! Always great to see happy faces all over! Spending quality time with the cubbies is always a blessing (and a joy!).That has to be the most emotion I have ever seen in your face bro..![]()

Is that a B24 Liberator?

Is that a B24 Liberator?
Thanks. No, Liberator is 4 engine with a twin rudder tail...
B-25 Mitchell is twin engine with a twin rudder tail...
That's not a beauty, that is horror.....and no, it does not count....
This is kind of a weird one. And NOT for the obvious reasons. The nose, fuselage and tail definitely look like those of a Martin B26 Marauder, BUTT (gratuituous obvious joke here) the wings including motor, propellers and the cooling air intakes on the leading edges and on the engines are definitely more like those of a MItchell B25. Photoshop? Creative warplane reconstruction hobbyists? go figure...

Yup, but look at the two fronts together:Mitchell's typically had a cooling uptake in the top of the engine cowling.
Look at the wing ducts on the A-26 Marauder...

Its got me stumped too so far. And the rear elevator "wings" are swept back which is a more modern design. Still looking...This is kind of a weird one. And NOT for the obvious reasons. I think we've got a winner! And yes, Robert, you are abso-intercoursing-lutely right: it can ALSO be an A-26. Actually according to the 'net it's a Douglas A-26 / B-26 Invader. Now, where's the chicken dinner??Looks like its the Douglas B-26C (not a Martin). Look at the engine nacelles and the intakes on the wing leading edge.
