Electroharmonix.................STRINGS?

Looks like another brand that has switched to the "environmentally friendly / vacuum sealed for her pleasure" packaging is La Bella. Nevertheless, I think I'll try some of their "blues medium" on the bendy guitars as the string balance appears to be better than on the EB Burly Slinky.

EH 10's loaded on the Generat ion tele

INTERESTING side note -- the 90's USA MADE Generation series

has the same arched top and body cut/carve as the MUCH MOR EXPENSIVE fancy flame top models that come with active pups --- (and some have Kahlers!! or Floyds)

I established this as I opened the control cavity to learn I COULD add active ......EMGs?? perhaps ???? battery compartment willing and able riat thar ;)

The base ones are 1/2 to 1/4th of the high end version .... same body ... same neck....

Ill make a fools report on the strings in a bit...

Only one way to find out if it has a flame top under the paint ;)
 
I dont NEED to know that much -- necks FLAMING enough -- typical peavey fashion though they used the same CNC route for the "base" model as the HIGH END model just added fancy bits.
My Peavey Unity P/J bass.....same deal -- has the battery carve in the control cavity-- it is a passive bass .....
 
Oh fools report -- so far the EH strings are .......well working---- they are strings -- they feel like ...uhm strings-- sound good --- work as described.......time will tell how they hold up
 
no they arent -- feel different....... smell different -- colored different I have D'aDarios on other guitars...... these are "tighter" if that makes sense? --

I broke down and I blame you. I just ordered 2 sets of SIT 10/46 strings to try.
 
Well, I installed a set if the SIT strings on Blueberry for a fair trial. Put them on last night. They seem to be strings for an electric guitar. The tone is a little brighter than the D'Addario NYXLs, but feel is similar. Here's a little something I came up with in the early 80's:
