Apart from the cool-looking packaging these don't seem to be anything special. The price is not bad but also not significantly cheaper than EB (but quite a bit more than Fender or Darco, for example).

I doubt EHX is making their own strings any more than they manufacture their own vacuum tubes. Most likely rebranded D'Addarios, who seem to be the biggest OEM source of stock.
