I actual like Magna's but would rather ride my 1200C....the only foreign cruiser I want might be a Truimph but to me they don't appeal to me more than this.....

All I meant by that if you read what I typed is Harley has been making power for a long time.

??? Harleys are made in India --or at least they were ...............

and Indians are made in IOWA ....... its a mad mad world
Yes some of those new models were actually made there....the water cooled ones. Most of the iconic long standing models are still made here in PA & Missouri & also Michigan & Wisconsin.

I would also like to add Triumph are made at 2 factories based in Hinckley in the UK (making the TFC models), just a stone's throw from the Mallory Park race track. There are also three factories in Chonburi, Thailand, and one in Manaus, Brazil which make the rest of the models. So maybe before throwing stones at what Harley is doing or where they are making their bikes maybe look in your back yard, love ya' bud but no clue why all the :poo: slinging at Harley?

968 lbs isnt a motorcycle its VW Beatle

45,000 for something with less than 100hp is shamefull .....

YEP SIR -- -but Im not drapping myself in the TRIUMPH flag and say all else is CRAP --- as harley faithful do

I like all the brands -- including Indian made Royal Enfield -- etc etc. --

HARLEY could do better -- yet they dont -- because someone (a lot of someone's sadly) will PLOP down 45 k for that just because of the logo

Well see I agree with most of that, first and foremost I would never pay $45,000 for a motorcycle EVER! I have a hard time thinking I would ever spend more than $10,000 on a bike. So many like new bikes can be had for that and less. I don't drape myself in all Harley. I am a ride what ever you got or want kind of guy. I think you seen my old bikes before. My favorite bike has been the Sportster! I am not into baggers... for the most part. I would take a dropped Deluxe but as far as the full on baggers from any maker are just not my thing. Give me a V-Max or Warrior but if I really need to go fast any of the 6R Ninja's is fast enough. 105mph in 4th with 2 more to go & at 140 mph you still have another gear but the limiter kicks at 165 mph. Different bikes for different things but the Sportster has been turned into bobbers/cruisers/race bikes/enduro style bikes. And it's the longest running model from any maker. Other than that for Harley I go with a V-Rod or Dyna or Softtail Custom/Nighttrain with a possible Deluxe/Fat Boy because they are so cool unbagged and dropped but heavy!

Hell I wont pay that for a car........ I paid less than that for my first HOUSE!

I have always --- and probably will allways state -- VERY OPENLY AND HONESTLY -- I truly believe this is one of the best looking machines EVER MANUFACTURED -- and quote me "ON THE PLANET"

IT is to motorcycling what the LEs Paul Jr is to guitars ....... never have I strayed FROM THAT opinion
the lines and curves and everything about that machine is pure cool.

I would not say best but its a damn sweet ride, classic badass bike. As long as it has Harley logo Im good :)

this thing does 198 mph "out of the box"

but looks about as comfortable (for a normal sized American) as a pineapple enema.

Actually I thought that would be the case but I found them plenty comfortable for riding. The 1000 Sport Bikes from most brands are stupid fast. Nothing I would really need. The 2000 Ninja 6R would wheelie all day if I wanted it to and 4th was 95-105mph with 2 I never really used. But I will say this...you will never see me own a BMW car or bike.....

Now you got me looking at bikes, I need another so Dawn can ride her own....
I like this...for me :p

That looks very nibble!

These have the olds cool look but woefully under perform
