NAD!

I lost track WTF did he buy?
I've never done a demo before.

I can move a couple mics around and try to record a few things.

What would I need to do in order to create a video to go with it? Is this hard to do or is it something I can learn in an afternoon or so?
Fk it man , anything works. Even phone if the mic is ok

Marshall SC20H: $1399.99
Friedman JJ Jr.: $1599.99

The choice between the two was rather obvious for me as they're both comparably expensive here...

If we're talking full size amp heads though.......yeah, the Friedmans are very much more expensive
Yeah i really dont get the pricing of the damn 20watt Marshalls either. If youre getting literally a 5th of a 100w or less than half of a 50w, why pay more or equal to either? True, you wont get a new 1959SLP, 1987 or JTM45 for the price of a SV20 and you wont get a new JCM800 2203x for the price of a SC20 but you are paying more than a DSL100 or Origin 20/50. Used market? Yeah you can find JCM800 series for the price of an SC20 easily. Might have to settle for a 2205/2210 or later model 2204 but its still more of an amp

My phone is a Galaxy S20+5G.....but the clips still sound like ass. I got all my kids all by myself today so I probably won't have much time for messing around with it until later tonight anyway, but I would also like to learn to put video to some of this stuff we've been messing around with on Reaper. Never have before!

dont listen to @Clockworkmike I want full-on Bob rock production.
I bet if Bob Rock himself came over he would just chew my ass up and down about how I "didn't do my homework"...
Like he did to Kirk that one time...:ROFLMAO:

We have a 2203x sitting in the jamroom right now. It's been there a couple years.
It doesn't get used. It's simply too damn loud. To the point where it isn't really very usable. We ain't jamming in arenas! And it's not a high gain amp either, so if you're looking for some good chunky chugger tones you'll blow the walls down before you actually get there lol
That one is LRT's, and he recently opened it up. Kinda messing with the idea of modding it. Maybe a ppimv would be a good place to start.

Just put your BEOD in front of the amp

That amp does not get along with that pedal.

The BEOD really needs a dedicated clean channel to run through.

LRT did try a BEOD in it after I got mine, he didn't keep the pedal. Works much better with a TS or SD1 or something like that.

Of course, the 2203x has a loop unlike the originals did....the pedal may work going directly into the return.....but then you cut the entire preamp section out of the equation...kinda defeats the purpose of an amp like that.

don't get me started about that whammet boy, if he spent as much time crafting his craft as he does with nail polish and eyeliners he would be a better player. for f'n sakes he plays one of the most badass bands in the world and he does not care what he plays or how....:BH::BH::BH::BH:

do your home work, and give me black album level production, I accept nothing less!:celebrate:

@mcblink download the Dolby On app. It will record videos and you can load directly to YouTube and then link to here. I'm doing it with a Galaxy S9 Note and they come out okay. Most people are probably listening on a phone anyway. I just set the phone in the sweet spot in front of the cab on a chair.
Dolby On, huh?
Never heard of it. I'll check it out. Thanks.
Kids and I are going to venture to the store and then fire up the barbecue so it'll be awhile before I can get to it, but I'll record something here sooner or later lol

blinky, go old school man, you have mics. So take the mic and put it against the speaker and move around to find the sweet spot. its usually between dust cap and cone. Then put it 2 fingers away from the grill cloth slightly angeled. take mic'd line in to your daw and set levels so its not clipping. then when you are ready to go, hit record on your daw put the camera on, and make big scratch noise or something so it creates a spike on the wave that you are recording so you can aline that spike with phones audio so you can synch them. then start playing and once you are done take audio you recorded and video you filmed and synch them together Inshot app is free and you can edit video there really easy.

Bob rock will be happy
