Hawking: 'we must leave Earth before 2117'

Dinosaurs?
They were amateur survivalists.
Only here 140,000,000 years.
Lets talk about the insects.
Here before the dinos.
Still around today.
Bacteria?
Forever.
Roaches are the alpha Earth species. They were here when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. They will be here long after we blow ourselves up with nuclear bombs.

I have always held the belief that humans should be spayed and neutered at birth so they'll simply die off and just disappear from the face of the earth. A most despicable species if there ever was one. Just a thought.

I might be up for some outerspace time. I hear how the wieghtlessness helps lengthen our bodies. With the way my spine feels, I sure could use some weight taken off it to allow my discs and nerves to stop hurting in my low back area.

A very wise person on some other forum once said,

"The monumental ego we humans have......

Correct me if I am mistaken about this.
Every time a volcano erupts it spits more crap into
the air than all the cars on the planet do in a year.
Not a day goes by without a volcano spewing someplace on the planet.
The planet is doing fine and will someday decide to get rid of it's latest
annoying little skin rash.
That would be us.
"We are destroying the environment"
No.
We are screwing up OUR environment and may make life for us impossible.
Skin rash cured.
The planet will still be here and other life will bloom and flourish.
It has happened before.
It will happen again.
The planet is doing just fine thank you.
Ask the dinosaurs."

Hawkings belongs on the Big Bang Theroy, the Syfy channel, and maybe The View. Wait, I take that back, The View is just too far out there, even for Hawkings...

Professor Stephen Hawking is making a documentary about humanity's need to colonize other worlds.
Whether it be due to global warming, nuclear war, genetically engineered diseases or a rampant artificial intelligence - the next 100 years could prove disastrous for the human race.

Hawking, who is currently working on a new documentary entitled "Expedition New Earth" with former student Christophe Galfard, now maintains that in order for our civilization to survive, colonizing other planets sooner rather than later is going to be absolutely essential.

"Although the chance of disaster to planet Earth in a given year may be quite low, it adds up over time," he said back in November, while noting that "we should have spread out into space and to other stars, so a disaster on Earth would not mean the end of the human race."

It's difficult to fault his logic, after all - right now we really do have all our eggs in one basket.

Whether humanity can colonize other worlds within 100 years however remains to be seen. - See more at: Hawking: 'we must leave Earth before 2117' - Unexplained Mysteries

I though it was 2525 lol do u think the ole chap,is right lol

Ok...we start by launching him into space for atmospheric monitoring...

Will we be able to reach escape velocity if we take all of our amplifiers,
lay them face down, dime them and all hit a big E chord together?

You might get an extra boost if you use your Wah pedals like an accelerator

BRING BACK NATURAL SELECTION ON HUMANS. We would be better off if there were less of us. Maybe we could select for common sense. Then common sense would be common.

Like the late great George Carlin would say the Earth will just shake us humans off like fleas. The world is severely becoming over-populated and governments are working together to promote population control through flu-vaccinations. Think about it. Every person I know who got the flu-shot got sick. It doesn't make sense but it does. I guess that's why there are a lot of wars in the world today...another form of population control.
