What's the worth of this NOS LP Studion classic 60s T?

As for me, it is at least $700 too pricey.

I wound up buying my first SG when I was bidding on a BFG for less that $800 US and wound up getting a very nice SG.
In addition, I have bought LP Studios in like new shape with a case for $600 US so do the math, Betty.

If it has that mix of qualities you like, and you are planning on keeping the guitar, and it cannot be found elsewhere, it would be short sighted to worry about a few hundred dollars either way. Would you prefer to pay $200 less for a guitar you do not like as much? How much does that anount to over the life of the guitar. When you balance regret and $200 on either side of a scale, regert is very likely to win hwavily outweigh the $$$.
:iagree:

What is Pll?

It's a lot like a poll. :D

I agree it's too pricey, but it's all relative. Looking at ebay, thanks for those links, I can't even get a second hand studio faded here for under $900 (including Korean import tax). I'd much rather buy this new 2016 60s tribute T for $768 (and, I very may well do - it's a good price for a nice guitar, but I haven't played it yet...).

스쿨뮤직 - Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute 2016T Satin Honeyburst Dark Back (LPST60THDCH1)

I cannot get a new studio 2016T or 2017T online and ship it to Korea and pay import tax for under $1400; the shipping and import tax really screws you which is why, despite the high costs here, it's still cheaper/better to buy in Korea; especially as you can play the guitar first.

Because I'd wanna get a case, and that's $150+ here, for any Gibson LP I'd buy, it then makes sense to look at the studios because they come with cases; so, $768+$150=$918 for that LP with a case; that makes the Midnight Blue $482 too expensive! :D But, it's Korean sale time this weekend, so I'm hoping that amount will reduce...

If you think $1400 is a bit steep, make them an offer or ask for a discount.

Yep.

So $1400 for one doesn't seem outrageous by comparison.
Especially if you can play it, and respond to the feel and the weight of it.

I will. The thing is that I'll play the tribute 60s too, and that studio classic is gonna have to play and feel $400 better otherwise I'll likely get the honeyburst tribute with P90s (I love P90s and buckers, so both would suit).

The Lester with the P90 Soap Bars is my Choice.I like that P90 hum when everything is cranked hahahaha

It obviously depends on the environment, luckily where I play has very little hum so the P90s are not noisy; worst ways, you can put the switch into centre hum-cancelling position.

I have played taht EXACT model as recently as YESTERDAY! --- at Jimmys Vintage Music in Fl. it felt good.....sounded great ......was a stripped down no gloss bare bones beastie.......they where asking almost retail for it used here.......I would not apy that -- but if I stumble on one for CHEAP I would buy it.
NEck was thin 60's but not MEGA THIN fretboard was nice frets where comfortable .......all in all it DID NOT SUCK and I would get it in place of the blue and save the 700.00 difference!
