Me too! I've wanted a Deluxe for years now but the prices have been going a little crazy for the originals. I will definitely be buying one of these. Just wish they had them in Wine Red, but another sunburst or goldtop never hurt anybody, right?

There's no scenario in which I would knowingly purchase a counterfeit. I only buy new from authorized dealers and I only buy used from extremely well-known and trusted shops.

The only thing on these reissues that resembles the originals is the pickups.

Different hardware, the neck is not maple, and no "pancake" body.

Not saying those are bad things, just not historically accurate.
