I'll be doing black knobs. Now that the Kahler drama is behind me, I'm pretty settled on what I want, with the exception of the tuners. I'd like to get Klusons, or something with the same form-factor, so I can just use the existing screw holes to attach them.

I'm thinking of these in gold...scroll down down to the G-MOUNT LOCKING PLASTIC BUTTON tuners:

Or, I may do these in gold: 3 PER SIDE WAFFLEBACK METAL BUTTON

VINTAGE DIECAST

But, the gold pointers are a definite!

Smitty, the roller bridge is awesome. It intonates well, sustains well, easier on the hand and stable tuning.
 
Smitty, Are you decided on the Seymour Duncan 59's ?

I'm pulling the 57's from my LP. I think Ive finally made up my mind, and am going with Seymour Duncan jb/jazz combo. Like you, I'm saving for the parts....just hope I don't change my mind again.
 
You guys are killing me...I have been all over the place. I've seen sooo many demos, and I thought the jb sounded really good. But, you never know until you get then in your specific guitar.

I was going to go with dimarzio Super D/paf pro...but after many demos, the jb peaked my interest.
