Thanks, man.

I got the idea for using forceps from you. You mentioned using them in one of your posts once.

I keep a set of forceps in my tackle box. I'm glad I had them. That was a REAL help!

Oh heck yea. That tape turned out to be big-time tacky. Those forceps are a valuable tool.. I use them on the wiring too. Glad it worked for you also.

I also Incorporated an old toothbrush which I ended up throwing across the room. Just took some flexing of the fingers to get in there but it worked.
 
I forgot about the tootbrush idea. I used the eraser end of a pencil to work some of the copper tape into place.

When I get to wiring it, I think I'll put some electrical tape in the jack cavity to avoid the shorting issue you ran into.

We'll see...

As you may expect, the wiring channel was the most challenging. I used a set of forceps to work several overlapping strips into place. Eventually, I got the channel completely covered.

I used a multimeter to check the resistance between the switch cavity to the end of the control cavity...essentially the full length of the shielding job. The resistance is under .1 ohm. That conductive adhesive is really conductive. I was a little concerned about that.

I'm glad that's done. Now, on to the next step...
