Which one do you feel is the most accurate representation of you as an artist???

Even when we cover a song, we impart some of our own unique style to it.

For me, it would be this cover of Rory Gallagher's 1987 hit "Road To Hell."

In this song, I arranged and played the bass lines, played the rhythm guitar parts and improvised all the solos, in addition to performing all vocal tracks

While this performance is likely average in comparison to those of others, I feel like it is the very best representation of how I interpret music and a very good example of my "in your face" tone.

This was one of the first recordings that I produced myself without a producer controlling my every note. I had total creative control over this project and it breaks all kinds of rules.

Which one of your recordings musically describes you best???

I don't know if I can pick only one. I'd say these are my favorites, and very representative to my playing style and personality. I'd like to add a couple of others, but these would sum it up quite well. The last one was always one of my favorites to play live, but the bass player wrote it. The rest are mine. Every track was recorded professionally, and the first or second take was the keeper. All recorded live, and only vocals, rhythm guitar, and keys were overdubbed. The solos were all on the original takes, as we played it like we played it live.

Good playing on these tracks!!!!

Uhm ..... I’m working on a Simon and Garfunkel cover. Gordon Lightfoot cover. Both on acoustic. Oh yeah. And a Rockin in the Free world..... also on acoustic. Kinda my roots on guitar.

As to how well I cover them. No way on Gods green earth am I good enough to cover anywhere close to how the original is done. So we’ll just leave it as my interpretation. And I’m good with that.
