If anyone is curious, Crate Blue Voodoo cabs were most certainly void free plywood of some variety with an MDF back like a Marshall. I snatched this up for $40 and an old little pedal board. I had the G12T-75s laying around. Should be a pretty nice cab with all metal corners and handles for not much cash when I'm done. Better put wheels on it too. I'm old.
Yeah, I believe this thing is from the mid-nineties, so it is made in the USA. The speakers were crap. I threw them out without an audition.I'm astounded that Crate made cabinets out of plywood, instead of particle board.
I guess it's one of the few things they did right...
I suppose it's USA Crate from St. Louis MO.?
Don't tell me Celestion speakers came STOCK in that cabinet?
Now that would be difficult to believe.. however possible.
They had two versions of the Blue Voodoo cabs: One with eminence, one with Vintage 30's.I'm astounded that Crate made cabinets out of plywood, instead of particle board.
