Session 5
Ambassador of Strings & Wings
We have talked about these in passing, But here is a little more in depth. I use a Capo fairly often. I use a Shubb I like it cause its adjustable wheel on the back for tension on the frets. There are many on the market, make sure you get one that you can adjust the tension, as some are strictly spring loaded tension only beware of these they can damage your frets.. I am also a singer so with a capo i can change the key to suit my vocals as well.
These are 8 reasons that using a Capo can be great for your guitar playing
1. Capo allows you to play more songs with fewer chords
2. Allows you to playthings , that would otherwise be impossible
3. Helps songwriting and composition
4. Changes the key to suit singer
5. Makes playing the chords easier
6. Leaves your fingers feeling less sore
7. Creates a different tone.
8. Can give your left hand a rest.
