Well man best of luck on this poop! Keep your eyes open for any weird spots and get them checked and even removed pronto like youre doing! The chemo bit is a mess too and i understand the resistance to it: lot of the time it can be 100x worse on you for everything else it hits.ongoing wide spread skin cancer issues all types squamous basal cell and melanoma--- they now say if you have had 3 sunburns in your life your a candidate --
Ive had 4000 at least, not kidding , probably more -- (pasty white guy living in the sun for 40+ years) every weekend-- sunburn -- every trip to the beach burnt -- every dive trip burnt -- EVEN SNOW SKIING-- -- we didnt KNOW the dangers "back in the day" ---just "dealt" with it.
now I had 13 spots surgically removed 2 years ago-- and have several that are being treated on going--
its basically "there" and pops up -- sometimes in open lesions -- its not "terminal" if constantly and vigilantly treated -- they claim I might be able to beat it 100% (maybe they really dont know) with chemo-- but Ive seen what CHEMO does to otherwise healthy people -- and the side effects and potential OTHER issues are NOT worth the risk to me frankly--so for now Im using this method of treatment...and watching my numbers-- so far none have created any internal issues ....
I completely relate to your skin tone problem: im pale as hell and get burned bad every year even with high SPF sunscreen. Had a couple trips to the doctor for a few bad incidents. Probably should get checked out myself as well sometime.
