Covid Vaccine.

My family and I are in the last category to get inoculated, so it will be a long while before we feel safe. Kudos to you and those who choose to get vaccinated.

We joke that if they had lied and said it makes the Pee Pee harder and larger, 90% of the grievances about the vaccination would be gone. :D

Lol that's very true!

And im with ya there man: gonna be last in line like you. Initially they said support teams and construction to critical care areas would be high priority aka essential workers. That tune changed quickly. Now, fast food workers and walmart employees will actually have a higher list than us as believe it or not lol as long as i get it? I guess im grateful. My kids however arent even up for it until 2022 due to them never testing on anyone under 16

My Pop & his hump both got the first dose this week.
The hump was all proud showing me her card today. She already wants to get it laminated.o_O
Like it's a trophy...

I'm a hermit, so my exposure to the ugly & real world, is pretty low.
I usually only venture out for beer.

I'll pass on the shot for a while & see what the population mutates into. It may be epic!

Vaccines are a good thing, if it wasn't for them
No side effects yet. As most people have said. Shoulder feels like someone punched me in the arm and left a bruise. And that’s about it.

Usually on the second shot some people have had a few symptoms for a couple days fever and some body aches.

I hear being a Zombie isnt all that bad...... ;)
I always have wondered where all the poop goes from all them Zombies eating raw meat! Is that why Zombies walk funny?

I remember steroid shots for the treatment of asthma had these same aftereffects when I was a young teenager back in the 70s!

So, my company provided video teleconferencing systems for an international Cell Phone company, so we were considered "Essential" to continue work. Now not so much.

They flung that title around to get what they needed from the folks keeping everything up and running. Then when the vaccines actually showed up? Suddenly you're useless. It's pathetic man

I retired in October. My plan had been for End of 2020 anyway, but when we’d had a second person test positive Labor Day Weekend.... on Tuesday after Labor Day I turned in my notice for Oct 2. Turned out that person had gotten a false positive. Didn’t care. Wanted out.

I completely understand and dont blame you one bit! It began to become just chaos working in a group setting anymore because you had people taking the right precautions but being forced to work with those who could care less. Everyday it's a gamble and its not getting any better really.

Congrats on your retirement my friend! Enjoy yourself!

get someone to punch you in the other arm ........then you will be "balanced" ;)

Ive honestly -- not stayed HOME a fool day since the start of 2020 -- ive traveled long wide far and near -- being "Expendable" in construction style work --- we have been SLAMMED -- cant keep up TBTH -- working 7 days a week for the last 5 months -- thousands of miles a month I travel---Im most certain ive been exposed (mathematically its not feasible I wasnt) --- Guinness and rum musta killed it ---
I live off gas station food--
travel coffee--- food truck sammiches......tacos....

my system is toxic by nature -- add in the constant exposure to dog/critter/farm germs (poop and all) -- and on going cancer---- Im rather sure covid saw my inerds and ran LIKE HELL ..............or it showed up and was DESTROYED

What's this about CANCER?

What's this about CANCER?

ongoing wide spread skin cancer issues all types squamous basal cell and melanoma--- they now say if you have had 3 sunburns in your life your a candidate --

Ive had 4000 at least, not kidding , probably more -- (pasty white guy living in the sun for 40+ years) every weekend-- sunburn -- every trip to the beach burnt -- every dive trip burnt -- EVEN SNOW SKIING-- -- we didnt KNOW the dangers "back in the day" ---just "dealt" with it.

now I had 13 spots surgically removed 2 years ago-- and have several that are being treated on going--
its basically "there" and pops up -- sometimes in open lesions -- its not "terminal" if constantly and vigilantly treated -- they claim I might be able to beat it 100% (maybe they really dont know) with chemo-- but Ive seen what CHEMO does to otherwise healthy people -- and the side effects and potential OTHER issues are NOT worth the risk to me frankly--so for now Im using this method of treatment...and watching my numbers-- so far none have created any internal issues ....
