yup thatd be me..... The Fretwire seems cool and TBTH costs less than the KIT it was built from and no "heavy lifting" on my part--- I have some pups that might be good in it-----if the stockers arent......

The Glen Burton is an experiment--- I have wanted a CHICAGO for years--- BUT --- wasnt paying the ---250 or so they wanted new......so fool reports will follow

how they compair how they suck--- how they dont--- and the suckiest of the two will be Craigslist/reverb fodder.....the other will stay ....a week or 12
 
Interestingly I've done that with pedals (bought the exact same one). But I have so darn many pedals.

My brain is a little Fuzzy Adrian as I have been suffering a major kink in my low back as well as rough sleeping because of it.
I do remember the T40 and might have seen a pic of that Sunburst one or else it coulda just been one with the T40
 
Milestone is new to me (but looks la lot like my Fender Jazz Bass) ----T-40 been here a bit.

I did the same with the tread title, read it & just knew it was an eSGe thread. I had a look at the Fretwire 175 link & feel I should give you a quick heads up; I have seen one of those exact style trapeze tailpieces on a Chibson semi hollow body that a young guy asked me to look at because it wouldn't hold tune, kept de tuning low. Turned out to be that trapeze, or rather, the part that wraps around the back of the guitar & the back button screw mounts through. The tension of the strings was causing it to bend. He changed the trapeze out for an allparts one & the guitar was fine. Hope you don't get the same problem. Good looking guitar by the way. Cheers
 
Like the others, I knew by the thread title that it was eSGEe, and that he just bought something! I also figured it was an online purchase.

But, two, nearly identical guitars?

Well Gents....its good to be known......thank you for the kudos and commiserations....
--- I sold three guitars last week....now I have two back.......damn it ,,,,,,, Oh well such is the eb and flow of FLIP-DOM
--- I need my own television show--- anyone know a producer type???? We could go syndicated -----
Now If I could just find my damn guitar knob turner ----- changing strings is so slow without it ........

MEssing with the Peavey P bass cleaning and restringing ........I mean once these are on they will stay for life so.......gotta set em in good. lol

Cleaned up and oiled down....new knobs and sweet lo action......for a simple sub 200.00 indochina made beastie---- its damn solid --- makes good BOOM-- and you wouldnt care if you beat a drunk heckler to death with it in a bar fight......probably wouldnt lose tune really .....
