1957 Fender Princeton (Amp Porn) Completely 100% Original / UNtouched.

It looks like it came through a time machine.
Almost (for real) showroom condition.
Only can think of two scenarios: the amp got built and then stuffed in a dehumidified clean room like something Howard Hughes lived in before he died, never to be seen again for 63 years. Or yeah, it was shipped back from a supped up Delorean DMC 12 by a guy with crazy white hair and a lab coat from a music store in Oct 1957

I will post more pictures as I go along....
I still have the transformers etc to photograph.
I want to document these old amps extensively.
When people are building / repairing they need really good pictures to show them how the old amps were really built.
There is so much confusion about how these were put together that I think it's worthwhile.

It appears to have been used once or twice.
The input jacks have no wear on the plating from plugging / unplugging.

Well there you have it, as impossible as it seems there are still amps out there from 1950s that haven't been played, original tubes and all.

I have an early 70s 5w Vibro Champ. Came with my bride when we got married. (Yes.... officially belongs to Mrs. IbLive). It too is all original except the speaker. Had to replace it a few years back. That said, yours is way cooler.

It's not mine, belongs to a customer of Grand Central Music.
He wants to gig with it.
That may be a tad unrealistic.
I think that amp is like 3 watts, isn't it? It's like a champ amp. I can't see any difference between a Champ and this amp, is there any difference?

Gotcha..... but it’s still way cooler. As far as gigging with it. Put a mic in front of it and run it thru the board.

Ever take note on what Neil Young has been using as his go to amp since the 70s. Something like a Fender Reverb Twin. Aren’t they like 15 amps stock? Just mics it and runs it thru the house speakers.

Edit: just looked it up. 1959 Tweed Fender Deluxe. But I did get the 15w correct.
