IM SO CONFUSED

;)
So I have a FENDER bassbreaker --- with EL84's........................that SOUNDS like a fender/marshall.......
a Marshal DSL 15h --- with 6v6's.........that sounds......fender/marshall
and a blackstar 1 watt with 12 ax and 12 au7 tubes........that can sound .....fender and marshall ish.....................
a lil sexy that has a 6v6 and sounds very "tweed"
and some solid state amps......................

where was I going with this??????????????????--- oh yeah -- who wants to send something in a different "flavor" and IS THERE any different FLAVOR of tube combos??
Orange has EL 84's
mesa...................been there done that .............

is there anything REALLY different?

Or can I rest comfortably in my tonal barrage?
You need a Dumble! ;)

One thing for me is I can't tell the difference in output tubes unless the thing is very loud. Then the different types show their personalities.

Another thing for me is I really have accepted that only High-Gain amps really work for me. I have this '68 Princeton Reverb that I have been using for about a year now as a pedal platform, and while it is a very cool amp and does sound good, the clean channel on my Mark 5 sounds better, with or without pedals, then the Mesa also has it's Mark side with all the gain in the world. I am selling the Princeton, maybe pick up a Marshall or Friedman.
