Sound wise im sure itd be fine but wiring would be tricky if its the H2, 3 or 4 im thinking of. The H is passive and the 81 is active.

Chilli thanks for the compliment bro but, im not good man i just practice a lot,it takes me hours to learn and get it sounding good depending on the song.
i had to learn bands new song, i just could not get it in my head. The riff was not that hard but took me few days to get the feel.
From my last band i got kicked out because i sucked, its been many years since then and i started new one. When i was trying to learn the song and i could not do it, i was like oh no, history repeats its self , please not again.... so I sat down for 2 days and i just kept playing that damn riff till i got it.

Oops, back to my EMG's I have the H and an 85 not 81. I always get them mixed up.

Not uncommon for people to put the 85 in the bridge, a lot prefer it over the 81 as the 81 can be pretty harsh.

As for " Finished" Ramo,
My EMG's came OUT of the SG. They now await another donor guitar to put them in. I returned the SG back to the OEM tarback pickups and controls that came with it.
Somewhere unless I sold em without remembering I did so, I have a pair of Epi Humbucker pups, the EMG's, and finally I have a 498T and a Lollar pup, that all need guitars.

The absolute worst part about all of this....i could do it...i very well could.....
You know what.. im going to go make me a sandwhich, and im going to come back and see if there are any youtube reviews on it, maybe i'll find a reason to hate that guitar...
