PRS V12 finish clouding

I sent my beloved Aqua Verde P24 to PRS due to V12 finish clouding on the neck. This happened on their first run of this finish, only to be discovered by purchasers later on. PRS will fix the issue for original purchasers only. I am an original purchaser and they are fixing it for me abut 4 years after purchase.

You can see some of the clouding in these photos. The PRS Tech Center (PTC) told me they decided to do a complete refinish. I assume they must redo the stain, or else I would love to learn how they remove finish without affecting the stain. In any event, I trust the PTC unequivocally. They say they should be shipping it back in about another 2 weeks.

This is the clouding. There may be a little on the back, but I do not see anything on the front, maybe because of the bright colors

That is a great looking guitar, hope the refinish doesn't take too long. Do you know if they are doing a complete refinish or just the neck? Cheers

That is A SHWEET guitar Ray!! Good to see PRS stands behind their products. Looking forward to some pics. :cheers:
