Tonight's Performance

Toad in the Hole is fantastic. Spotted Dick is strictly comfort food for cold winter evenings

I LOVE Shepherds Pie---- love the stuff--- and bangers and mash....toad in the hole---- Great Grandparents where Welsh........yep go on cast stones all ya want....
But I love REAL Pub food and Stout Ale.......

Okay,

Fairly small club...tight stage, horrible mix, an Epiphone Sheraton that was feeding back like crazy, but but a very responsive crowd. So amazing to see people in their 20's that know all the words to these old blues tunes. We had people sliding tables out of the way to make a dance floor and they chanted "one more song!" every time we tried to shut down. Working on some videos....

Like a tasty bread paste....Don, are the sausages specially made for the dish???

Nope, they are everyday sausages you can buy in the supermarket. To make this dish the sausages are first cooked for about half an hour in the oven. Then the oven is turned up to a paint-blistering temperature, the Yorkshire Pudding mix is poured into the tray and you keep an eye on it as it rises and turns to delicious crunchy gold. Duck or goose fat is the oil of choice - it survives really high temperatures without burning,

Ok...a few short clips....just cell phone vids...lots of sound problems, no sound man on this venue, so we had a lot of equipment bugs, a feeding-back Epiphone Sheraton too, but we had a super-responsive group. They filled out all the indoor seating, then opened the windows and packed out the patio too. The crowd kept chanting "One More Song!" every time we tried to shut it down. Bunch of people dragged the tables out of the way to create a dance floor. needless to say, the establishment was very happy and paid us a nice bonus with an invitation to return...

"Little Red Rooster"

"What's Goin' On?" - A very cool tune and you use all 4 strings on the bass to play it.

And this one especially for E.Sg, Chilli and Srergio... :)

"Thank You!"

You know, it's kind of funny when you look at these videos and realize that black guitar strap is the one I made from scrap leather when I was 15 and my 25 foot cord is an "Easy Lock" I bought new in 1984...and it's still my most reliable cord of all...
