No, I just got tired of the switch being in the way so I relocated it. lol! That one was my first build 7 years ago. It's been thru many changes in those years. It started out with a single humbucker in it. That's an older pic, it only has a p90 in it now and it's about to get a new prs style wrap around bridge on it. I guess I'm turning it into a T style Jr.
 
I played this Godin 59 at my local shop back in feb of this year, I really liked the looks, and the playabilty, it was comfortable to play with the contours and shape of the guitar and a nice weight. I am still thinking about it. I would eventually like to have a Tele style guitar in my collection. Nice tones as you will see in this video.

 
A few months ago i stumbled upon the 4way selector switch wiring on a Tele. Had never heard of that in my life but watched some videos and it can take your Tele into completely new territories. Basically, you are adding a 4th option of series wiring between both pickups and on most traditional teles, this means you're kinda running both single coils in a humbucking pattern and actually gets a little louder output.

On mine, i already have a JB jr humbucker in the bridge so it boosts the sound even more and gives it this very aggressive, thick sounding bite. It cost about $45-60 and its totally worth it!

I heard from somewhere that Godin guitars are pretty decent. Therefore I believe you should.... DO IT!!
