Very nice. I’m a big Warmoth fan !I prefer to build my own. Not really Teles I know, but I love the Tele shape and with comfort contours they are very comfortable to hold and play. All mine are Warmoth and have short scale necks.

I've never owned a Tele because there are some features of them that I don't really like - mainly the fretboard radius - but there are other things I do like, such as the looks and the bridge pickup. They are also pretty heavy. So when I saw this model I was very tempted. I might end up getting one at some point. They have some wood missing under that pickguard, that is apparently how they kept the weight down. I also like the contouring they did
The Black Pearl finish is also very nice:
I really like the swamp ash with the open pore grain
Gorgeous!Bought it new in '08, my '08 G&L ASAT Bluesboy. Killer playing and killer sounding guitar!

I heard from somewhere that Godin guitars are pretty decent. Therefore I believe you should.... DO IT!!I played this Godin 59 at my local shop back in feb of this year, I really liked the looks, and the playabilty, it was comfortable to play with the contours and shape of the guitar and a nice weight. I am still thinking about it. I would eventually like to have a Tele style guitar in my collection. Nice tones as you will see in this video.
Sounds awesome! But if hes rocking Dwight Yoakam, really wish he broke into that great riff from Slingblade:
