NGD - The Javamagic John Cipollina Tribute SG

I usually do only play that guitar, at home. But, I need to mix in others for two reasons. I own them, and they need to be played so they don't become neglected.

And, because I don't want it to end up looking like this guitar. I've played this one for thirty years and about a hundred gigs.

o.k./////////// o.k. -- now just damn it.........just -- stop now..............damn it .....stop ...........your killing me ................the patina........the scars.... the dings..........now see that (THAT) would go so well with my 62 EBO -P conversion.............

Truly that is far more lovely than any NEW 2020 Gibson SG -- of any model at any price point

Agreed! I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise...no disrespect...that’s why I said ”alternate knobset”. I just have a few rolls of them kicking around....that are not in “collectors condition”.

Wow! A few rolls? I have a small jar full from an old lady in my neighborhood where I grew up. She would pay me for the weekly town newspaper which was ten cents with two Mercury dimes. One for the paper, one for tip. It was irregular, but I saved all the ones she gave me.

Bienvenue Roger! Looks great! I'm happy to have been able to help. I see you did go with stereo wiring.

Roger builds spectacular guitars, and makes many of the parts used for the final creation. I have a set of his handwound T-Bird pickups in the Thunderbird bass build that I finally finished a year ago. They sound spectacular. Someday, I hope to have one of his Crestwood Customs.
