Damn skippy, brother.embrace the positive !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the encouragement, Don.As someone that has suffered hand trauma that has required surgical correction, I must say that I am overjoyed to hear that you have been pain free! Please know that it is not always the outcome. Sometimes, there are little “reminders” that pop up from time to time....for some. The important part, if these reminders do manifest, is remembering that you do still have tools with which to work, and they can be relearned.
I am happy to see the above photos! I wish you well in your recovery Hack!
Congrats on the new ride! Sweet!
Thanks JG, yes it is looking awesome.Dave thats lookin awesome.
That is truly great to hear buddyThanks for the encouragement, Don.
I do get the little reminders from time to time. Tingles, stabs, and my index finger is numb, but only on the inside of the finger.
But considering what happened, it's nothing.
I can wash, dress, drive and eat unassisted now. For the last two weeks.
This alone is a huge victory.
Thanks JG, yes it is looking awesome.
And due to the surgeons talents, I still have a semifunctioning hand that seems to improve & get stronger daily.
It seems weird being so joyous over such a traumatic event, but it's small potatoes compared to what could have easily been a disaster instead of an major inconvenience.
Life is short & unpredictable, my brothers.
And I'm truly blessed.
At 61 I still have my 92 year old father, an awesome wife that words just can't describe, and all you cats as friends.
Like Joe Walsh sings " life's been good to me so far"
Peace
How has your dad and wife reacted to your injury? At 61 I still have my 92 year old father, an awesome wife that words just can't describe, and all you cats as friends.
It's not really his wife, Greg. They're just shacking up.How has your dad and wife reacted to your injury?

I actually meant your wife, but your dad's "hump" is an interesting mini story in itself! It's not really his wife, Greg. They're just shacking up.
We call her his hump.
