Fixed a MKII Boogie Yesterday - Bad Coupling Cap

Sorry to all you well learned and fellas with many years experience understanding and working with electronics and pieces of equipment, but I hope my clips can help other less learned, learn things, for the more learned to explain the accurate info or contradict any inaccurate etc etc.

Here is an example where some folks remark that this fella gets his direction of charge flow backwards, then he explains why he says what he says...I find it interesting to learn about B+

but are you fretless?

said the spider to the fly ---------- ;)

Love ya Chili
(but your not gettin my blacked out fretless -- @Hackmaster special) :)

thought that Steve Harris sig. might.....................trade for it???????????

QUIT POSTING CHOPSTICKS!

This is part 1 of 4 on resistors. Like I said, sorry for those who already know all this. But for anyone who wants to learn, I cannot think of a more fruitful way to spend time.

I had 3 years of electronics in high school, still have the notebooks from the classes. It was for anyone who wanted to become an Electrical Engineer. The teachers were really good at teaching it too. Never a boring class. Then we found out RCA was doing their last class on tubes, figured if it's the last class on tubes from the manufacturer we better go to it. Got to see and learn almost everything about tubes, chemistry and math all related to my favorite glass bottles! Loved that experience .....

+1 on the Uncle Doug (I was bummed when Rusty passed) and Robrobinette.com.

I need to rewatch some of those; it seems whenever I go back having learned a little more along the way, I understand either more of the video or the content more clearly / subtleties I had missed earlier.

this one on tube bias tremolo is good too:

Lesson on Resistors:
Resistors contain smoke.
If you let the smoke out, the resistor will not function anymore, until you put the smoke back.
(The "ohm meter" tells you how much smoke is left inside the resistor) According to Ohm's Law.

In order to put the smoke back, you must appease the 4 Gods of electricity:
1. Volts
2. Amps
3. Watts
4. Gotcha

You must sacrifice 2 virgin fluorescent tubes to the Gods of electricity.
I hope this explains resistors.

One time, I dropped a whole box of 1 Meg resistors, and ohms were everywhere. I had to sacrifice, like a whole box of fluorescent tubes before the Mojo returned.
I hope you learnt something from my stupidity.
