This is the first time I've ever seen a gutshot pic of an old Marshall with the tremolo circuit. Very cool, thanks!Tremolo switch factory

Bob at Sourmash sure does a great job. This arrived in under 2 weeks. I'll drill holes and mount the chassis tomorrow. I started celebrating a little early today!
And I get 50 watts for less than a SV20 or SC20 would cost me used.what, wha, aha, I must be dreaming this.
It looks more like a Marshall, than a Marshall does.
No way. somebody pinch me.
Which would you rather? And I get 50 watts for less than a SV20 or SC20 would cost me used.
You know, this is honestly my first experience with a 4 holer. It seems to be cleaner and more articulate than my 2203 build. Having the master volume is nice for having adjustable overdrive without using pedals and it has its own sound. The 4 holer just sounds awesome clean (I am going to have to take it to the cabin to open it up) and I like the tone variety when jumping channels. Plus I have a Mojo Mojo, RAT and Soul Food to add overdrive.Which would you rather?
An SV or an SC? And why do you think one or the other is better?
The general consensus seems to be that with a lower value choke the amp will feel looser, maybe sound a bit more rude. With a higher value choke the amp will feel tighter, maybe sound a bit smoother. If your after the classic four hole Marshall sound & feel Id say stay with the stock 3Hy. Cheers
That indeed, is a very nice looking cab!View attachment 47625
