The Muse I Adorn

I too have some "Only a Gibson is Good Enough" string protectors............I always chuckle when I read it............(notice they say "good enough" but NOT specifically for WHAT. ;) )
good enough to pass and get out the door
good enough to keep repair techs and luthiers busy for decades
good enough to teach you a lesson in value per dollar spent
good enough to need an immediate 300.00 worth of set up and fret work out of the box
good enough to tune but not intonate
good enough for 1/2 the pickups to work out of the box
good enough to............................................................to..........
Make ya wanna buy used........and let someone else work out the bugs and depreciation :2Thumbs:

so -- I am not just "hating" on the Gibbos ----because "only a Gibson is good enough"
got that Lp for 550...dude had the strings so high & the pickups jammed on strings.

Now that major rearranging of my cellar has been going on, my JTM45 and old Marshall 8x10 are no longer buried. I forgot how amazing this amp sounds. Bought it New in ‘89 because after two years, I could not find a Silver Jubilee. I’m glad that I bought this instead. Much better amp, more versatility, and my main(only) amp for about fifteen years. The Strat was easiest to grab, and still a great guitar to plug into this.

all DICKING off aside --- I dislike all V s for me....cant play em dont like em not even the bass ones---- but that ---- (I LOVE THAT) the wood and the contours and those LOVELY pickups

SHEER odd ball perfection --

Just got into them... always played ones with the 500t but really dig the Albert King more bluesy sound.. there is smething going on with them..am sensing a lead players monster machine !

This one I play all the time. It was my first built from scratch guitar. Every time Gibson reissues the '58 Flying V, the want somewhere around $8K for one.
