Thieving Bastards!

I too have had a bunch of things go missing, some could be my fault for not locking them down in the back of my truck, and I am also a corner lot, have had my drivers window broken out and they found my garage door opener.
The poor sumbitch that gets caught in my garage, is going to wish he had never stepped foot in my garage!
Cheers
I just hate scumbags.
We should not have to lock our things down, people just need to not help themselves to things that don't belong to them from places they shouldn't even be.

Sadly, it will never stop happening.

Back in the early 70's I was playing at a local dive, break time roll's around and I set my 1957 Sunburst Les Paul Jr. on the stand. Just a couple minutes later I hear a bit of a scuffle going on, when I turned around my Jr. was gone. Some of patrons went after the guy but to no avail., the Jr. was gone. I'm still looking for it, but pretty sure I'll never see it again.
I'm not sure if my rage over that would ever subside....I think it would lurk underneath the surface, lying in wait of the day I happened to run across the guy who took it...

I feel for you Mcblink. For me it's not so much about loosing the stuff as it is feeling like I have been violated. Funny thing is I have never had a problem with my acreage up north. I have no security, 2 unsecured trailers, a nice canoe, Weber gas grill a fiberglass extension ladder and numerous other things out that no one has messed with in almost 20 years. I think people up there intimidate would be trespassers. Never know who's got an itchy trigger finger....

What you do is:
Get a bicycle with hand brakes.
Then, disconnect (or loosen) the rear tire brakes.
Now when the crook goes riding off on your bike, they will squeeze the handbrakes to stop.
But since you disconnected the rear brake:
The bicycle will flip forward over the front wheel when the brakes are applied, and the crook will fly through the air, and smash his skull on the concrete.

I hope his brains splatter real nice when his skull cracks open.. (hope this helps)

But still, that's being too nice. Need to get serious about this problem.
