All I can say is don't be afraid to dial in some mids!since you all talk about marshall here, how would you go about dialing modern tone with marshall dsl100hr? im terrible with many things and dialing tone is one of them, if you have suggestions or advice please share it with me))
My Dsl40c’s are very close in tone and feel to your Dsl100Hr
I have no idea what to do with the second MV but I run mine,
Treb 8
Bass 5
Mids 8
Presence 8-10
Renosence 6
Reverb 5
Gain 2. On red lead 2
Gain on green crunch 10. + an SD1 !!
Give them a try, I know they worked well on the 100 H.

i give them a go today cheers Mitch but i think that much gain will give me muddy sound especially on the red channel. ill try anyways see what happens.
