NPAD - Kemper

I’d patch in to the board in stereo(from the Kemper), you have a couple of stereo channels on your mixer, and feed the powered monitors from the main outputs on your mixer.
OK. I though this was unecessary since it is a mono signal in. I am planning to keep the setup where I go OUT from the mixer to the monitors via XLR cables. I guess I don't understand why you need to feed a mono signal IN twice.

If I understand correctly, this is a previously owned unit. If so, just check the way the Main/Monitor outputs are setup. either output section can be stereo or mono, your choice. Currently mine is setup as main stereo, and monitor mono as seen here...

Makes sense - and glad it can be done through the rig manager now - thanks!

Some of the effects available are stereo. Might be advantageous in a recording situation. So you could just go Main stereo out to the interface, and plug the monitors into the interface output. Full stereo effects and recording

The effects(including mic and cab sims likely) are available in stereo. You could actually patch out to 4 channels from your Kemper(would be 6 if you had SPDIF on the Soundcraft).

....and yes, if recording...I would route a direct(untouched) signal of the guitar to a channel on the mixer, that’s not assigned to the master, but is assigned to a Reaper track for recording...so you can re-amp it to your heart’s content.

Now I understand. You know I need things explained twice - explanations in stereo! Thank you!
