The tinfoil hat won't help. Big Brother has your number... All of them. No where to run to, no where to hide.
shes cute.................................. got a #?
You can go online to my Social Security | Social Security Administration and create an account.Nope, IRS don't have my info on file. When I called to ask how to do so, they told me that they're short staffed and DD will take priority so after those are done they will begin to mail checks. Don't know why they can't send out checks simultaneously or setup DD for me. We are flat broke after groceries today and not able to open shop for another 30 days or so and I suspect it will be even longer than that.
And you have never had to pay income taxes? They have literally never had to give me money back.

Go to my Social Security | Social Security Administration and sign up for an account. You can add your bank info for auto deposit or just your mailing address so they can send you a check via snail mail.Oh I have to pay but you don't have to give them your direct deposit information for that.
@steveb63 No sad face needed for me. We are way better off than many people. We have a roof over our heads, we are eating well, better than we did before isolation, even if the government money dries up, they have said three months for sure, we have enough saved up to get by for at least a year.My wife and I both got laid off in March. She worked at a coffee distributor that supplied restaurants. I worked in a hotel/restaurant/pub. I am still getting some business from freelance IT consulting. I also get a monthly Canada Pension cheque. This is nowhere near enough to cover our rent let alone groceries. We both applied for Employment Insurance. The EI was kicked over to the Canada Emergency Response Benefit. She had $3,000 put in her account and I had $2,000. We are both eligible for $500 a week. It will be enough to get us by. I was thinking I’d have to dip into my retirement savings which are pretty pitiful. Thank you Government of Canada.
If they already have your mailing address, that's 1/2 the battle there. I heard on the news today that Trump placed a hold on the printed checks so he could have his name put on them. That's kind of egotistical in my opinion, but it is what it is. Other than that, there is no way a printed check will be distributed as fast as a direct deposit. Think about it... You enter the information on a computer, press a button and the money is instantly transferred to the bank. If the bank account is already in the database, the whole process is automated by computer, no human needs to be involved. Printed check needs to be printed, placed in an envelope, placed in outgoing mail, picked up by the mail, transported to the post office to get sorted, placed in the appropriate pile to go to another post office and perhaps even multiple distribution hubs before arriving at your post office, sorted and finally placed on the truck for your mailman to deliver it to you. Just compare how fast you receive an email compared to how long it takes to get a snail mail. Uncle Sam has your name, social security number and address. You will receive a check. Admittedly not as fast as you would like to receive it, but it will indeed arrive.I'll try that, but the IRS certainly has my mailing address already. I just would like the physical check to have the same priority as DD, as I am sure most would, but from the person spoke with that's not the case. Technically it's no different if the software is printing a check or electronically transferring funds. So I guess DD is the only viable option if you don't want to wait a month or likely more.
Like that attitude. Keep it up brotha, it's all temporary anyhow. lol@steveb63 No sad face needed for me. We are way better off than many people. She kinda funny, now you funny too.....Wife and I got ours yesterday.
I was able to pay up on rent, and then some, even. Then I had a few dollars left for gas and beer. So that was nice.
Too bad I couldn't have got me a new amp or geetar. Oh well, not having the landlord jump my ass is nice. She says "I don't believe you try tryna find no job..." Said, "I seen you today, you was standin' on a corner, leaning up against a post."
I says, "but I'm tired!"She kinda funny, now you funny too.....
