I received this same message and after some Googling found that MANY people are getting this...

Some of my co-workers have been paid the stimulus and some have not. Nothing to do but wait at this point...

You are not SOL, it looks more like this is a glitch. Many low income, retired and even disabled people are getting this message.
 
cool for the stimulus..not sure if i get one tho..i paid the piper today on time instead of waiting till July 15 ..and my rule after taxes paid for the year...American guitar of choice , is the rule for behaving !

But this last week..the lid blew off the public..we are laying down some record numbers again..but i lowered prices and get this.crap !!

my one tech..well i got a call of someone looking for him to show up for a job..well just found out he has been taking some work for about 6 months and doing on his own but he went and told people he was managing my company & opened up his company(cool..plenty of work for all)..basically he took a client i have served for 8 years but we didnt know it.,,Me or the Hotel owner, He took my cards out of the hotel lobby & worked a side deal with manager..told them his busuness cards were part of my company.. he messed up a whole hotels lock system & we had to go fix it ,but he got called out & now lost his $1,000 a week job ..& the manager got fired...all for what, a few xtra bucks..So in this down time i hired,,some new dude is extremely happy right now as he was almost out of money..now he is working as much as he wants....

My fired worker called last fri asking for his job back..said he got no calls on his own yet & is running out of money...i said..no can do..and asked why he ruined such a good thing? No answer..a few people have come thru here over the years & start their own company & find out its not so easy running a 24/7 business.. We have been able to verify 17 jobs that were done on my company but not by us but by him..so far as i went back & did damage control..cause i 100% back our work up & service the places..He left a trucker with a mangled lock 2 weeks ago & tried to undermine UHaul(have a contract with them for years..funny..He would talk to managers & get them to call him & then kick back to manager..prob is they have no responsibilty ..no recourse.when something went wrong like it did..Uhaul national corporate calls me..and i had no record of the jobs done...plus we are registerd with NASTF for car keys ..Uhaul takes this very serious cause the fleets need to keep rolling..weird..its been all weird..if he didn't botch that hotel..prob wouldn't have found out as fast but Uhaul & the Hotel both imploded at same time... am usually very sympathetic & understanding but we worked way too hard to make a good company that is all about customer service..

also there was LOADS of hype at the FRONT end of this thing about AID and ELIGIBILITY to "self employeds" for GRANTS and LOANS and Unemployment comp---- HA -- try GETTING any of it----
Ive been blessed to keep working but I know others stuck in a quagmire of red tape and mud that would make a blue tick hound bite its own mama

Me too..set the CX9 back up with tools & am taking calls again..been home since J's brain injury. I do give the people back some money or charge way less if i take it. free in my town.

Whether you pay every year has no bearing. I pay every year too because I don't withhold enough. If your "Adjusted Gross Income" on last years return
was under $150K for your family filing joint you get the full $2400 stimulus. If you made more the $150K adjusted you still get a portion.

My wife quit working years ago and my adjusted was under the $150K so I'm just waiting for the check to drop.

A friend who makes more than the $150K because his wife works just got a deposit for $650.
 
My wife and I both got laid off in March. She worked at a coffee distributor that supplied restaurants. I worked in a hotel/restaurant/pub. I am still getting some business from freelance IT consulting. I also get a monthly Canada Pension cheque. This is nowhere near enough to cover our rent let alone groceries. We both applied for Employment Insurance. The EI was kicked over to the Canada Emergency Response Benefit. She had $3,000 put in her account and I had $2,000. We are both eligible for $500 a week. It will be enough to get us by. I was thinking I’d have to dip into my retirement savings which are pretty pitiful. Thank you Government of Canada.

People are starting to receive the stimulus. Both of my kids have received the full amount for their entire family. This is $1200 per adult and $500 per child.

If you are out of work there is also a special Pandemic Unemployment Assistance that will provide $600 a week Federal in addition to what your state offers.

I'm attaching the letter we received from the California Labor Secretary...

Nope, IRS don't have my info on file. When I called to ask how to do so, they told me that they're short staffed and DD will take priority so after those are done they will begin to mail checks. Don't know why they can't send out checks simultaneously or setup DD for me. We are flat broke after groceries today and not able to open shop for another 30 days or so and I suspect it will be even longer than that.
